Who is iAdmissions
iAdmissions was founded to address the dearth of high-quality, affordable, college admissions resources for students in crowded public schools. According to the independent, non-profit organization EdSource, California has just one counselor for every 1,000 high school students, and the national average is only one for every 500. Although more and more students are using private admissions consultants, including 120,000 students in 2008 according to Independent Educational Consultants Association, such mentoring has traditionally be reserved for only the wealthiest of students. So, a group of experienced admissions officers came together to form iAdmissions.
Utilizing the latest in online technology, iAdmissions offers an innovative, personalized, and affordable approach to the college admissions process. Our experts offer constructive, objective feedback and coaching, using a knowledge base acquired through years of experience advising students and evaluating college applications. iAdmissions connects students to former admissions officers from Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, Brown, Berkeley, UCLA, University of San Diego - the top colleges and universities in the country - in one-on-one virtual classrooms, and delivers a wide range of college admissions counseling products such as College Admissions Essays, Personal College Counselor, College Application Assistance and Financial Aid Counseling, starting at just $49. iAdmissions believes that all students, regardless of income level, should have access to expert, trust-worthy coaching from professionals.
